David is a Church Elder at Woodspring Church in Weston-super-Mare who works as a Transport Planner for a Private Consulting Engineers practice in Bristol. David is a former company director who has worked in a range of corporate environments. He is currently studying for a PhD at Loughborough University. David is an experienced Speaker having spoken at many National and European conferences associated with his profession and he has been a guest lecturer on Masters degree courses at Surrey University and University of the West of England. David has run and tutored a number of successful industry approved training courses in recent years which he has now ended to concentrate on Bibliotec. David is married to Trish and has four children and two grandchildren.
Andrew has been in W-S-M for 30+ years, he is married to Lydia they have 6 children, 3 grandchildren. With his wife Lydia he owns and runs ‘LIFE’ Christian bookshop & ‘The Living Room’.
Andrew has had numerous roles in the ‘Church’ including PCC’s, Board of management’s and is past president of Churches together WSM. He has been involved in youth and children’s work, Home groups etc He has been itinerant preaching since his teens which often includes his music. Andrew has studied at Bristol Methodist college and recently a practical theology course at ‘Muller’s’ in Bristol.
Paul came to faith in Jesus in 2014 an encounter with the Holy Spirit during an Alpha course. He has been self-employed for 21 years as a ‘fish man with a difference’ and since 2017 working with a meat wholesaler in delivery and sales. He is the Alpha co-ordinator at Locking Castle Church, helping with hospitality, youth work, detached youth work, prayer ministry and healing café team, a member of the ECC, leads a Life group and organises a men’s breakfast once a month.
He has a powerful testimony which he shares with people he meets.
He has visited Africa with the Kenya Hope Charity and supports through on going involvement Also a volunteer at ‘New beginnings for you’ a charity that supports prisoners due for release from HMP Leyhill.
Paul shares his home with 2 lodgers providing them with support. He has 2 grown up children and 2 grandchildren and one on the way.
